Woodhead is an award winning international architectural and design firm with a network of studios throughout Australia and Asia.

We currently have a Marketing and Communications Coordinator opportunity available, based in the Sydney Studio, which assists in the planning and execution of marketing, PR and business development activities for the studio including coordination of high quality submissions.

This is a fast paced role covering exciting aspects of the business and it will see you providing a range of services and supporting the business.  Proactivity, enthusiasm and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines are key requirements of this dynamic, challenging and fun role.

Other areas of focus will include managing the client marketing database, ensuring compliance with company branding across all marketing material, event management, assisting the senior management team and general administration as required.


  • Identify and pursue marketing and/or public relation opportunities on a local basis.
  • Ensure marketing material and communication resources are kept up to date including project sheets, image libraries and coordination of photography.
  • Production and coordination of high quality submissions.
  • Ensure requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and key deadlines are met.

  • Demonstrated experience (min. 5 years) in a similar role within a design, architectural, project management or construction environment is desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge and previous experience using Adobe InDesign CS5 and Adobe Design Standards Suite (Photoshop etc) to develop and edit material.
  • High level of knowledge and previous experiences in MS Office 2007 Suite (ie PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc)
  • Administering online systems, i.e. Intranet, Client Management Systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) that are open and honest
  • Effective prioritisation and time management skills
  • Ability to manage external and internal expectations is paramount
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity in a fast paced changing environment
  • Ability to make effective and sound decisions
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within tight timeframes
