The tropical, semi-rural nature of the site was comprehensively integrated into the architecture. In addition to meeting the functional needs of the campus, GHD Woodhead aimed to espouse to the ethos of the school generally. Features of the project include flexible multi-use spaces, proper use of locally available materials, and sunscreen, shading and breeze control being vital design elements.
